Monroe is the male counterpart to Marilyn. We believe he is some sort of Maltese/Terrier mix. From looking at his teeth is about two years old. He is 17 lbs. He is a great little dog. We rescued him and Marilyn from Yuba County Animal Care Services. They told us he was picked up by their officers near a Welfare office, so they guessed his owners were living out of their car and the dogs got loose or the owners didn't have enough money to reclaim them. Judging by the conditions the dogs were in they had to be in some sort of home because they were so clean just a little matted. But with a quick trip to the groomers they are squeaky clean.

They both are amazing dogs and would be suited for any home. Monroe is more friendly to strangers than Marilyn.

Marilyn is a gorgeous girl. Maybe more than the movie star! She and her friend Monroe came from Yuba County Animal Care Services. And as I am sure most of you know by now that the facility up there is very much overwhelmed by stray dogs. Most of the dogs there have to be put to sleep because of the insane amount of dogs turned in and found. But on a happy note I got this girl and her male friend before that could happen.

She is a little shy at first but comes around very fast. She is still learning to be comfortable walking on a leash, right now she just lays down, but with a regular training and walks she will be trotting along side of you in no time. We think she is a Maltese and Terrier mix and by the look of her teeth she is about 2 years old. She is 16 lbs.

Marilyn is a darling girl and will be suited for any home. She gets along with other dogs great and most likely cats but we have not tested her.

Flora

Flora is an adorable little 3 month old Deer Chihuahua. She is the sweetest thing ever. We rescued her from Yuba County Animal Care Services, and due the overwhelming amount of dogs found and turned in there she most likely would have been put to sleep if we didn't pick her up. She is full of puppy energy but will curl up in your lap in no time after she burns all her energy off.

I love her and will be sad to see her go but I know she will be a great dog for anyone. She is very gentle she will be great with kids but due to her size I would prefer to have her go to a family with older children. She gets along great with other dogs but can be a little frightened of large dog, which I would be too if I was so tiny.

Flora is an amazing little girl and will go fast so please let me know if you are interested.

Joon

Joon is a gentle giant. She is a year and half old Alaskan Malamute and about 70 lbs. We rescued from the Yuba County Animal Control Shelter, her and her litter mates were turned in as owner surrenders. She had lived in the mountains and was hardly socialized with people. When we got her back to the facility she had never walked on a leash and was not used to people. We have been working with her for a few weeks now and we believe she is ready for her forever home. She still needs training on the leash but she has come a long way. She plays a little rough with other dogs and needs to be taught to calm down at times, but we have seen nothing worrysome.

Jayden

Jayden is a stunning purebred Boxer. She's a sweet girl and loves going on walks. Jayden is a puppy at heart and plays like it so if she were to go to a home with another dog we would have to make sure the other dog is able to keep up with her.

She's 2-3 years old and weighs 46 lbs. Only big dog friends for this one and children older than 12 years.

Come see this beautiful girl as she won't be with us for long!

Lillian

Lillian is a little treasure! We couldn't believe she was found by animal control in Rocklin as a stray. She is as sweet as they come and is a total cuddle bug. She will more than happy to be held all day long and cuddle with you at night. She is a toy Yorkie and is about one to two years old.

She would do best in a mellow household so she wouldn't get too overwhelmed. Come see her this weekend because she will be gone faster than you think!

JD is a big hunk! He is a large dog with lots of love to give. He came to us as an owner surrender in Rocklin. We think he is a mix between a Shepard and Shar Pei with his coloring and all his wrinkles. Don't let his size fool you, he is a very sweet boy. He loves all attention!

He needs more training on the leash but he does know basic commands like sit. With the right home he will become the perfect dog! We believe he is around three years old and around 70 lbs.

Audrey is a gorgeous gal! She seems to be a purebred black lab who is about a year and half old. She was found as a stray in Rocklin. This girl is a total love bug, she wants to be with you all day everyday. She is great on leash when you talk to her and give her voice commands.

She would be a great addition to any family. Please don't hesitate to come see her she will not last long!

Schatzie

Schatzie is a little darling. She would be perfectly content with just sitting on your lap all day without a bother. She is a three year old Dachshund and is about 10 lbs. She gets along great with other dogs and most likely cats but we have not tested her.

She would be a great family dog. Please don’t wait to come see this sweetheart.

Rex is a handsome boy. He is a two year old Boxer mix and about 50 lbs. He is extremely friendly to everyone he meets. He is very polite and gentle. He listens well to voice commands and handles well on the leash.

He is good with other dogs and children, but due to his larger size older children would best fit.
